LCF 60th postponed -- please pray

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lawrence decided last week to send students home and use "distance learning" for the upcoming third term. Since interaction with students is a key part of our 60th celebration (and for obvious health concerns) we will be postponing our party. We hope to reschedule for the fall. We will leave this site up for announcements and information.

Lawrence will be refunding money to those who already registered. Thanks to Matt Baumler and everyone in the Alumni office for their help and flexibility.

Please pray for Lawrence! Students are finishing up finals as I write this and saying premature "good-byes" on a very glum campus. This is especially hard for graduating seniors as you can imagine. Athletes, performers, students who were doing research or hoping to study abroad, etc., will have to make disappointing adjustments to their expectations, and everyone (including professors and tech support staff) will have to adjust to classes via videoconferencing calls. LCF student leaders and campus staff (Adam and Lyndsey) have been brainstorming ways to stay connected and continue to serve and grow in Jesus. Please also pray for university employees. Foodservice workers, for example, are basically out of a job until next fall.
